TIRGU MURES COUNTY MOU December – New York, NY On 19th December 2013 Tirgu Mures County Council in session agreed unanimously to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the development of a Medical Clinic in Archita. The signatories to the MOU were Tirgu Mures County Council, Lukas Hospital, Laslea, The Cardiovascular and Transplant Institute, Tirgu Mures, The Romanian Red Cross, Lions Clubs International District 124 Romania and Asociatia Maria Nobrega.
U.N. ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COUNCIL December – New York, NY The Maria Nobrega Foundation has been accepted for membership of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
BOOK PUBLICATION September – Archita, Transylvania Father Vasile of Archita presents to HRIH Andreas Hapsburg a copy of his book The History of the Orthodox Church in Sighisoara. The publication of the book was sponsored by The Asociata Maria Nobrega.
SAXON REUNION 11 August, Archita, Transylvania Some 100 former Saxon residents of Archita visited the village to celebrate the re-opening of the church after extensive restoration. A lunch and dinner were given in the Parish House after the event.
