MINISTER OF CULTURE FOR ROMANIA MEETS WITH MICHAEL CARRINGTON 31 October 2012 – Bucharest The Minister for Culture, HE Puiu Hasotti met with Michael Carrington to discuss development of an Archita Master Plan establishing of a National Heritage Conservation Area. The Minister was supportive and the Master Plan will now be developed jointly between the Ministry of Culture and The Ministry of Tourism.

ICONOGRAPHY EXHIBITION RECIFE-BRAZIL (April) The exhibition by two Brazilian artists, Newton Alves and Timoteo, will be held at the Bishop of Recife and Olinda’s Palace in Recife. The exhibition lasts for 10 days and is jointly sponsored by The Foundation and the Hydro Electric Company of North East Brazil, CHESF. The exhibition will be opened by the State Governor of Pernambuco.
