We as the Brazilian - Maria Nobrega Foundation - active worldwide in preservation of cultural goods, would like to express our sorrows about the loss of our historical treasures due to the fire.
We know that the identity of a country is represented by its past. We lost an important part of it due to this fire in the Imperial Palace.
Not only would we like to express our sadness about the devastating effects of the fire but also we would like to put our human knowledge for a partial recovery of the the damage.
With the deepest feeling of the importance of our past we want to express our horror about what is happening in Rio.
